Paul Geipel’s palaeobotanical collection – one of the largest and most important former private collections of the Petrified Forest of Chemnitz


	In his notebook, Geipel documented times and apertures to a series of recordings with meticulous exposure, which he made by himself and called them ‘Chemnitzer Sammlung’ and ‘Englische Sammlung’.
